To anyone so far that wished me a happy birthday yesterday, thank you! Would have done a birthday post yesterday, but was sick. I pretty much went to school and took a long nap. :x Fun though I found out I did better on the midterm than the class average in my fiance class. Also, I did better than most people I know. XD Gawds, that midterm is...urgh. :P

Speaking of fiance classes, registered my classes today and will be taking all three finance classes (Stock Market, Corporate Finance Part A, and Investments). I think I'm going to die next quarter. D:


Before I go, I think this meme is awesomesauce (which I stole from Jax XD), so you guys better give me some things to comment on. :P

Pick a paragraph / passage / scene from any story I've written, and comment to this post with that selection. Yay, contest is over! So far everyone is okay with the results. However, Zadros' banners are cool and no one is commenting on them. XD

Yeah yeah, reviews sound same but ranked differently. I guess the thing is we have different criteria on the one shots. One of us might look at character development and plot more while the other judge grammar and description, for example. Like Negrek said, rankings in fanficiton= bleh. :P

Hopefully in the end the contest is a great success. Something tells me there will be a lot of complaints about the ties, the spread between the rankings, and of course why we ranked this and that even though the three of us kept saying similar points. D:

YES, YES YES! Finally got done with the HGSS entries, all 29 of them! I still got some editing to do, so most likely I'll send my results to Golden by the weekend.

Speaking of Golden, already am kind of nervous he quit on the contest. ^^; I VM him on his progress, but he hadn't answered my question yet. Also, according to his profile, he haven't been on Serebii for three/four days. I know he has real life stuff to take care of, but still. D: With the HGSS games coming soon and the deadline for the judges to be on that day, yeah already nervous. O.o I guess I shouldn't worry, though, heh.

Haha, after a lot of talk of Twilight the past couple of weeks at Serebii and PokeCommunity, I began reading it online and recently finished the second chapter. So far, I'm okay with it and liking it somewhat. :O Late late, I know, but at least I'm not ranting the story all of a sudden like Yami. :P Already want to see how the movie version is like, lol.

My progress so far on the contest? Got 23 entries done. Would have gotten at least 27 done, but then my sister got sick and also had to take care of other important things, so yeah. :x

In other news, 23 entries for the Heart and Soul Contest so far. There's three more but they'll be sent tomorrow. However, a few late entries came, but unsure if Golden will accept them. If Golden does accept the late entries, then there's going to be 30 entries.

...30 ENTRIES. :O Luckily I have half of them done already, but the last ones will take me a while, a few of them very long. Oh boy.

I have to say I'm loving judging the entries for the Heart and Soul contest so far. Tiring though as my reviews are actually one to two pages long, some longer. xD

Anyways, this is interesting:

-One entry is  of a Hoppip. Soon the next entry right after has a Hoppip.
-One entry  is of a Houndoom and then the next entry also is about a Houndoom
-One horror entry and then the next entry being sent is also a horror one

I love how when one entry has a topic like pokeballs, the next entry being sent is also about pokeballs. :P

Speaking of horror entries...never read them during late night. XD; Great, now the two horror entries I read will give me nightmares (yeah, I'm weak at heart, deal). :O

Well, NE is finally done and over with. :)

Man, I remember when I actually started NE I quit on it because it was getting to be too much like Da Vinci. However, after playing Diamond, I gained some inspiration in trying NE a second time, this time with a different direction in the plot and new characters. I had a lot of fun writing it and even more fun reading the reviews.

Did a more longer farewell speech on the thread, so I'll just stop here. :P

So glad that Patty ( burnt_flower) is all right. I remember when the Virgina Tech shootings came, my university really made a big deal out of it. News of big shootings scare the heck out of me sometimes.

At my university there was this huge concert event called Heat, in which there there are DJs, dancing, and well known bands playing there. That night the bands playing were She Wants Revenge, Circa Survive, and N.E.R.D. I took some pics, but not too many due to battery almost running out. >.> Also, sorry if the pics are of bad quality. I have to say, 2008 is one crazy year. Loads of things happened. There were many things that I want to forget I was depressed for a while during winter quarter my sophmore year due to stress and also a lot of interent drama going on. There has been a lot of great things going on too. I've made new friends, both online and real life, been doing well in school, got along with my parents well, and been enjoying a lot of fandoms besides Pokemon. XD

I'm glad I've kept my resolutions for 2008. I've taken care of my teeth better and I did really well once again in uni, and of revising/posting more of "Nothing, Everything." 'kay, this year's resolutions:

2009 RESOLUTIONS
-Get my drivers license. :X
-Finish revising/posting "Nothing, Everything" before end of 2009 (most likely as there's only six chapters left =O).
-Perphaps start another Pokemon story that's been on my head for some time (not sure as I'm going to be very busy later in '09 and also wanna focus getting NE posted and finish).
-Write better reviews. Seems my reviewing skills are lacking. =O
-Exercise. Really need to be more active. XD
